Jack Meisl - PROJECT AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
Jack provides 30+ years in senior positions as Project Manager, Site Director and Construction Manager on Heavy Industrial, Mining and Commercial Projects both in Canada and abroad. Jack provides a solid background in project and construction management as evidenced by his strong leadership capabilities and ability to motivate and coordinate all construction site activities and engineering office deliverables while at the same time providing a safe work environment.
Jack’s extensive experience includes front end and Early Works planning and execution and development and implementation of; project execution plans, contracting and procurement strategies, contractor pre-qualification and selection procedures, project controls systems, project plans, schedules and cost estimates ensuring “project readiness” on both EPCM and EPC Projects. In addition Jack is able to utilize his vast “lessons learned” and “best practices” to mobilize fast track projects in remote locations and extreme climates. In addition to Heavy Industrial, Mining and Commercial Projects, Jack has successfully delivered Oil and Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical and Chemical, Cement Plant, Infrastructure and Pulp and Paper Projects including upgrades and shutdowns.
Michael Sarkor, P. Eng. - PROJECT MANAGER AND PROJECT SERVICES SPECIALIST
Michael has 18 years experience working on large engineering and construction projects for both EPCM and construction companies. The majority of his work experience is in the heavy industrial sector with a focus on Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Power and Mining. Additionally Michael has experience in the infrastructure, institutional and commercial sectors. Michael has worked on all phases of projects from conceptual design through detailed engineering, procurement, construction management, direct hire construction through to commissioning, start-up and project handover. Michael has held positions as a design engineer, project engineer on site, manager of estimating and controls, contracts manager, project services manager, assistant project manager and project manager. Recent projects located in Canada and the United States include Barrick’s Gold Strike TCM Leach Project in Nevada and Taseko’s Gibraltar Mine Expansion at McLeese Lake, BC. Michael’s experience has enabled him to develop leadership skills and expertise in the broadest range of project and construction management capabilities including: procurement and contracts management, planning and scheduling, cost estimating, project controls, change management, quality control, document management, risk management and construction and project management.
Peter D. Monahan, P. Eng. - PROJECT MANAGER AND ESTIMATING LEAD
Peter provides 30+ years experience in engineering, construction and project management and most recently has focused his vast knowledge and experience providing senior professional estimating services. Because of his extensive experience as an accomplished engineer, construction superintendent, project manager and contracts manager, Peter possesses a sound knowledge of what it takes and what it costs! As a result of this and his in depth estimating experience and analytical skills, Peter has the ability to step in and work with Owner Teams to develop and/or validate project estimates and validate project costs and cost forecasts. Peter has worked extensively with engineers, EPCM and EPC companies, Owners and construction contractors. His estimating experience is vast having estimated projects across a wide range of industries. James Dallimore, P. Eng. - MECHANICAL ENGINEER and LNG SPECIALIST
James Dallimore is a mechanical engineer with a master's degree in cryogenic engineering licensed to provide services in Europe and Canada. Providing over 30+ years experience as a Mechanical Engineer, Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager. James possesses diverse international management experience with Owners, Engineers and Contractors in LNG, Oil Refinery, Gas and Cryogenic Facility Design & Construction Projects. Recent assignments include Project Manager for multiple capital works projects at Phillips 66 Oil Refinery in Ferndale Washington, Project Manager providing LNG and Oil & Gas technical services to AmecFW Business Development and Senior Project Engineer for Solaris Management Consultants for the engineering and detail design of (2) $500M Sour Gas Plant Upgrades in northern B.C.
Terry Allan Moore, P. Eng. MBA - PLANNING AND SCHEDULING SPECIALIST
Terry provides over 25 years of experience working for industry as a designer, maintenance manager, project engineer and project manager. Cumulating all of his experience Terry now focuses on providing professional planning and scheduling services to existing operations, maintenance shutdowns and new projects. Terry’s experience includes oil and gas, pulp and paper, power generation and the cement industry. Terry also provides in-depth planning and scheduling knowledge of BC Hydro’s Power Smart Program. As a planning and scheduling specialist Terry is adept in critical path development, manpower and resource loading, progress measurement and schedule analysis. Recent assignments include a number of shutdown schedules for Rio Tinto Alcan’s Carbon Paste Plant modernization in Kitimat BC, New Gold Inc’s. Blackwater Project, Vanderhoof BC Feasibility Study schedule review and KGHM’s Ajax Project FEED Schedule.
Alain Catteau - CONTRACTS SPECIALIST
Alain provides over 20 years experience as a Contract Specialist working on major industrial projects for Owners and EPCM contractors. His strong technical background and understanding of complex projects enables Alain to provide practical solutions to contract formation, contract management and administration, change management, lien legislation and dispute resolution and claims avoidance issues. Alain is well versed with the schedule constraints relating to receipt of technical work packages, formation of contracts, bid period, bid analysis and award and as a result can work both independently and in a Project Team environment to get the job done! Alain has worked on projects with a CAPEX in excess of $ 1.0B. Recently Alain worked on KGHM’s Ajax Project performing Early Works and construction contract templates.
Paul Lamoureux - PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST
Paul provides over 30 years experience as a Procurement Specialist with long standing positive relationships with major suppliers and vendors throughout Canada, the U.S. and internationally. His expertise includes supply chain management from developing procurement strategies, to receipt of purchase requisitions, issuing purchase orders, expediting, coordinating quality assurance, logistics, materials management, payment and change management and administration. Paul possesses strong written and negotiating skills evidenced by his success in achieving significant cost savings on recent capital purchases. Recent projects include working on KGHM’s Ajax Project near Kamloops BC, assisting the Client with long lead purchases and set up and establishment of project procurement documents.
Paul Hepburn - COMMISSIONING AND QUALITY SPECIALIST
Paul provides 30+ years experience in project management, quality assurance, commissioning and start-up and operation of major industrial projects throughout Canada and internationally. Positions held include; Project Manager, General Manager, Construction Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, Commissioning and Start-up Manager. Paul has developed quality assurance programs and procedures, commissioning plans and schedules and complete turnover packages for handover on completed projects. Working with Owner’s, engineers and vendors Paul has developed and trained in-house commissioning teams on select projects. Projects include; Gas, Oil and Coal Fired Power Generation Stations, Wind Power, Mining and Pipelines. Most recent project assignments include: Area Commissioning/Start-up Manager at TCPL’s Hardisty Tank Farm Project, Hardisty ALTA, Mechanical Completion Coordinator at Syncrude’s Aurora Mine at Fort McKay Alta and Quality Assurance Lead/Commissioning Manager at Gibraltar Mine’s McLeese Lake Copper Mine Expansion.
